Wade Williams, Producer: Detour. Made for next to nothing in 3 days by Phil Tucker. However, it beats out The Slime People, all three original Quatermass movies, Target Earth, Gog, Devil Girl From Mars. First I thank Mr. Wade Williams for coming here to HTF and openly discussing his viewpoints on possible HD remaster & release of his films, even if it isn’t what we all wanted to hear. To me, it looks like paper mache made over a cake box and maybe a ballon. His boss (Guidance Ro-man) shows up on the view screen from the other end of the universe, holding a stick or wand and turns on his 'calcinator death ray' by waving his hands at the viewer screen faith-healer style. It is great to see Image’s commitment to release films many other studios simply overlook.
