About Deer Creek State Park Campground Located in the heart of Ohio’s agricultural country of Pickaway and Fayette counties, Deer Creek State Park is central Ohio’s vacation showplace. Deer Creek State Park is a watershed, thus DOGS ARE ONLY ALLOWED IN THE CAMPGROUND WITH REGISTERED CAMPERS.

There are 7 campsites and potable water is not available. 232 electric sites, showers, flush toilets, dump station, pets allowed, ball courts, playgrounds, mini golf, bike rentals in campground.
There are two loops to this campground: one is more heavily forested with more sites along the lake, and the other has more open and sunny sites with closer access to the resort community of Lakeshore.
Bathrooms were very clean and our camping neighbors were always respectful of keeping their noise down at night.

We chose Deer Creek because my in-laws had camped here many times over the years but not in the past few years.
