So if you ARE connected to a land line service, the first thing to check would be the phone cord connection to the Man Base Unit of the system - at BOTH ends of the phone cord - to make sure the cord has not been pulled loose. I only ask because when you see the "Check tel line" message it means that a "working" land line service is not being detected at the Main Base Unit. 1. I have panasonic home phone and it say check tel line - Answered by a verified Electronics Technician.
