Earlier this year I was a bridesmaid in Erika's wedding as she married the love of her life, Phil. Including when we were only able to see each other for a long weekend every few months during our long distance period in our relationship. They quite literally almost killed me with the shock value and the level of romance. Amanda and I actually have the same first and middle name as one another! Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM - … From second through 9th grade Robin and I were inseparable, sharing every moment and experience with one another as true best friends. Truthfully, I was so floored I don't recall what he said (for this reason we will have a videographer at our wedding, lol). It was very novel to me because at the time, he was the closest I had to a little brother. Erika has been around since Craig and I were long distance, she has been there for me both emotionally and physically, during the ups and the downs and even offering us shelter after Hurricane Irma knocked out our power for a week. We had been planning on going to one of our favorite beaches for several days. I was sure I was going to have a cardiac episode. Amanda and I tagged along, reluctantly, and as weird as it sounds, it was inside a Jurassic Park virtual reality booth that we talked things through; whether we wanted to give it a shot or not, whether we would formally call it dating, and so on. It's funny thinking back; as an 11 year old boy, he definitely bullied me just because he was protective of his big sister. We had nightly count downs to the next time we'd see each other. When we approached the boardwalk that takes you to the beach, I saw Matt crouching down under the boardwalk (failing to be sneaky). As he has grown into a young man, we've been able to find so much that we have in common. But as Amanda and I powered through our long distance relationship, Michael was a huge supporting factor. I've been around for many of his milestones and successes on his road to becoming a Doctor. I had the honor of being included in Dan & Ginelle's wedding in October '16 and I can't wait for her to be included in mine! Trips were filled with infinite laughs, but a lot of tears whenever we had to travel back to be apart. All of my brothers became the siblings Craig never had, however Michael filled the role of the little brother. Ginelle is someone I can turn to when I'm looking for a laugh, sharing a super cute dog picture or video, or when I need some brutal honesty. Our relationship is one that resembles best friends, despite our 6 year age difference. Matt and Brittany honored me by including me in their wedding, and we wouldn't have it any other way but to include Matt in ours!It is very special to me to include Matty in my wedding party not only because he is my cousin, but also my godson. I had been told they brought Michael home and they went to visit her grandfather. Next thing I know, I hear the waves and I hear the beginning of Perfect playing. There's always been a great balance in our relationship.

We will be brothers-in-law soon enough, but we've been brothers for a long time. Major holidays, spring breaks, and over the summers when I was home from school were the dates circled on our calendars every year. I'm so happy that, recently, we have been able to see each other more and that it has felt like old times. Including Aaliyah on such a monumental day in my life was never a question in my mind. I said yes... shocker, right?Milo makes us smile and laugh every day from his quirky and infectiously happy personality. During our early years of long distance, he was always there to make Amanda laugh and cheer up whenever we had sad or difficult times.
