The line-up was absolutely stacked with some of the world’s biggest artists, but that’s no surprise as Festival X is a collaboration between Australia’s leading festivals, concerts and events, Hardware (Piknic Electronik, Babylon), Onelove (Stereosonic) and Live Nation (Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and Download).I’ve now attended two different Return To Rio’s, and While it may be a smaller and more intimate event compared to many of the other Australia festivals on this list, I guarantee it’d be a weekend you’ll never forget!

While Festival X only made its debut to Australia (and New Zealand) in 2019, it’s already become one of the largest and most talked-about festivals in Australia! Maybe I’m just a hater, but I’m so confused why any festival in Australia would book “Bhad Bhabie”, who if you don’t remember, she’s the “Cash Me Ousside How Bow Dat” girl. All courses have 13 country themed obstacles located throughout the course which will include a Mud Bath, Rock Run, Hurdles, Dirt Jumps, Creek run, Cargo net, Bog hole, Sandbag Carry/water truck spray/aid station / Tyre gauntlet, Sink or Swim, Rope across the creek, Croc Slide /and a Hay Bale hurdle.The Dirt and dust festival also offers plenty of novelty events for some extra fun! I’m not able to attend in 2020, but I’m planning on checking it out in 2021! The Big Red Music Bash 2017 is Australia’s most remote Music Festival held near Birdsville in July.
