It’s easy to find dinosaur tracks in the park – just head to the river!Temperatures vary. Park Headquarters will be 1 mile. Then West on Hwy 67 to Glen Rose. This long trip to the past is just a short drive from Fort Worth.Bring your own horse to explore the 100-acre South Primitive Area. Explore 20 miles of trails. Clean and well kept. Take FM 205 4 miles North to Park Road 59. Then Hwy 144 to Glen Rose. The river runs through this wooded, semi-rocky part of the park. Last freeze occurs mid-March.Long ago, dinosaurs left footprints in the mud at the edge of an ancient ocean.
