With two toddlers, it was really nice to not have to bother with a trough of snacks, a double stroller or temper tantrums. A large area is currently under construction, but this did not spoil our visit.
The kids played in the backseat and didn’t really notice we weren’t moving fast! There was a lady selling the flavored ice thing that I can't remember the name to and that came in handy because it was hot. Cruise the Zoo presented by Dollar Bank will offer guests a chance to visit with the animals of the zoo including giraffe, elephants, and bears from the safety of their vehicle.
The Akron Zoo does a great job with the space they have. Thank You to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for hosting this event!When we arrived, we had to drive around the parking lot to the line. Certainly worth a visit and you can take your "go cup" with! Due to overwhelming requests by our members and the community, we have added more dates for Cruise the Zoo! “Cruise the Zoo” is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday from May 20 until May 31. Emma and DJ bounced back from side to side looking at the animals and asking questions (no worries, you never went faster than 4mph the entire time but you’re constantly moving)!Subscribe so you never miss a post! Audubon Park is great entryway to the Audubon Zoo.My husband lived near the park when we were dating and we used to walk there every Sunday for a picnic. Emma and DJ quickly snatched those up and called themselves giving us directions.The Staff of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo was absolutely amazing; they were friendly and thanked us multiple times for coming and supporting the zoo!
