We ate in various places but a fantastic Indian restaurant is the Mint Room but stand out meal and afternoon was sat on a roof top bar in the sun for drinks and a meal in the Hall and Woodhouse bar. A nice quiet area for a relaxing stay with great views. Looking forward to our next visit in Bath!Great location, lovely Grade 1 listed property. (It is hilly. We especially loved the Royal Crescent with its beautiful Georgian architecture and beautifully decorated houses. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Our room was upgraded and we had a card handwritten by the guest service manager. He assisted us in getting a hotel room in London for later in our trip.Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. I travelled alone and walked everywhere even 10pm and it was so safe.second time staying at this hotel, this time we come for a few days honeymoon. It is only about a third of a mile walk to the Abbey and the Roman Baths. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous meal at Clayton Kitchen. Unfortunately all other museums were still closed hadn’t reopened after lock down. The tour was great, even with social distancing, we were able to see and learn a lot.Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. I know Bath quite well as my daughter went to university here so my wife and I came for a three day break and it was a lovely stay. Overall a great hotel with friendly staff and comfortable room. Excellent location near city center. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.Bath is a beautiful historic city which has plenty of modern food outlets, quirky cafeterias and plenty to do. Travel may be permitted only for certain purposes and in particular, touristic travel may not be allowed.For a city centre hotel in Bath this was excellent value for money. Breakfast was great with a great selection of food.

Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. The Z Hotel Bath. Few miles from the centre of Bath but it’s easy getting there with bus right outside the hotel.

Fabulous shopping and loads of eating places from the chains to individual eating houses.Please check for travel restrictions. Plenty of halal restaurants around. Stonehenge, Froome and Wells are worth visiting if you have a car and the time to explore.Although we didn’t go on a scheduled walking tour we wandered around the city and skyline to see the sights and get our bearings.
